Lenovo supported NGO-YUWA -2014

Lenovo has long believed in encouraging the tenacious spirit of “doers” who overcome adversity to achieve amazing results. This belief has resulted in a solid partnership between YUWA and Lenovo, with Lenovo attempting to capture the SuperGoats incredible journey while also providing technological support. Lenovo will also use the #BleatforIndia effort to raise awareness and excitement about what these girls are aiming for at the US event, encouraging all football lovers to come together and support their own homegrown team, the YUWA SuperGoats.

Lenovo has teamed up with YUWA, a non-profit organisation dedicated to uplifting rural girls through football, to represent India in the USA Cup. The SuperGoats are a skilled squad of 18 Jharkhand girls who have been taught and guided by Franz Gastler, the founder of YUWA, an NGO that empowers rural females through football.
