Shubha Sekhar- Coca-Cola India’s CSR and Sustainability program

Shubha Sekhar

A people’s person with a “can-do” attitude, who is dedicated and collaborative, and who is motivated by work that improves people’s lives.

She worked for the Supreme Court of India, the Indian Government, and Norton Rose before joining Coca-Cola.

Shubha Sekhar has been appointed as the Director of CSR and Sustainability for India and the South West India Business Unit. She is in charge of leading the implementation of Coca-Cola South Asia’s Sustainability framework in order to enable and accomplish the company’s Sustainability 2020 targets.

Shubha is a Solicitor England & Wales with a Masters in Law (LLM) from Delhi University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and a master’s degree in Business Administration.

Shubha was part of the worldwide team responsible for implementing Coca-Human Cola’s and Workplace Rights policy for the Company, bottling partners, and key supplier partners across Eurasia, Africa, and Asia in her most recent capacity as Human & Workplace Rights Director for Eurasia and North Africa. Some of her notable accomplishments include establishing human rights and responsible sourcing programmes for Coca-Cola in this region, establishing the India CEO’s Forum on Business and Human Rights, developing land rights capability for our bottling partners, establishing the AIM PROGRESS India Regional Forum, and launching India country sugar studies.

Shubha has worked in Indian government, law, HR, human rights, and supply chain for over 20 years. She began her career with Coca-Cola in 2004 and worked in legal and HR operations before shifting to a corporate position in Global Workplace Rights.
