Lockdown Lovestory: Fell In Love With My Hubby

I receive many emails from women sharing their stories. Sometimes what a person is looking for is an ear to hear their story and nothing much.

Not all I can share on the blog but very interesting ones , I cannot ignore. Have shared a few personnel stories before , one was 17 Long Years and now Divorced and Difference Between Bahu and Daughter

With due permissions and name change, I am sharing today a very cute Lovestory during this Lockdown.

I got married in 2014. It was an arranged marriage and though I was not happy with the marriage but was not very sad too and parents were happy, so here I am Mrs. Rekha.

I don’t think, anything match between me and hubby . He is quite a quite person and I am vocal. I was very clear to him in first year of marriage itself that I am not in love with him and never going to be.

I started my job just 4 months after my marriage and somewhere in end of 2015, I got interested in a colleague of mine. We spend good time together in office and whatsapp. I was always excited to go back to office and sad enough to be back home . As is my nature, I was vocal about it to my hubby too.

We didn’t fight and for all we were husband and wife , I don’t know what we were to each other. Some strangers living together , who don’t mind what other person do.

Life was going okay and then this lockdown happened. First few days I was frustrated, devastated, depressed. Had no clue, how am I going to spend so much time with hubby at home. Alone with hubby, I am stuck.

Nothing could be done and here I am spending lot and lots of time at home and so it hubby.

I read a joke a year back on whatsapp, A friend to said to other friend, “Today my net was not working, so I happen to talk to my hubby”
just realised
“Achcha aadmi hai re” (he is a good guy)

Similar situation I went through. After this lockdown and spending time at home with HIM, I realized, He has changed a lot and is actually a nice person.
He use to eat only Indian traditional food, now he eats whatever I make and relish it too. He takes care of household chores, he is taking care of vegetable and fruits availability at home, he sings , he laughs and he is a good person to spend life with.

Arrange marriage , never starts with love, it starts with exploring each other and may be I was so blindfolded, I never thought of it. I started enjoying my individuality and a friend at office. And was so busy and occupied , never had time to look at the person living with me.

I am so Thankful to this lockdown, I got time to sit, realize, appreciate, understand, explore and got time and heart at same place to fall in love with my hubby.

Just four days back, I informed my office friend that I am not interested in him any more as I am finding my hubby more interesting and he amazed me with his reply , “that is what I was scared about”

I wish , I wish, this lockdown increases a little more and I am now looking for courage, opportunity, situation and a perfect day to express my feelings to MY HUBBY. I want to tell him “Achche Aadmi Ho Yaar”
